Our Location

Our boathouse is located in the Town of Port Dover on picturesque Silver Lake. Our course is sheltered from the wind and provides excellent rowing conditions regardless of the weather.  It is accessed via hwy # 6 whether you are coming from London via Simcoe or coming from Hamilton area.  If coming via Brantford you may take regional road #5 (aka the Cockshut Rd)  There are some road signs on # 6 directing you to the Silver Lake Market. We are in the same building.

Our Community

The Silver Lake Rowing Club serves youth and adults from communities across the Haldimand Norfolk region including the towns of Hagersville, Port Dover, Port Rowan, Simcoe and Waterford. We are located in the town of Port Dover famous for its perch dinners and Lake Erie shoreline setting.

We are proud to be involved in the Port Dover Lions’ development of a recreational area along the west shore of Silver Lake. Our boathouse is located at the terminus of the Lynn Valley Trail – a 10 kilometer biking and walking trail connecting the communities of Simcoe and Port Dover.

We invite people outside of our region to get in touch with us to arrange a time to row on our lake and to visit our region. For more information regarding Port Dover and surrounding communities including sights and accommodations, please check out some of these sites:
